Alex Potter and Austyn Wolfe Earn P.E. Licenses

Iowa City native Alex Potter and West Bend native Austyn Wolfe, both of McClure Engineering Co., passed the Professional Engineering (PE) exam to become licensed Professional Engineers.

“I couldn’t be more proud of Alex and Austynpotter wolfe mec They have been an integral part of McClure Engineering Company so far in their young careers and it has been exciting to see them grow. They truly exemplify the core values and culture of MEC, and they both have a bright future ahead with our firm,” said President and CEO Terry Lutz.

To become a Professional Engineer, an individual must attain a four-year college degree, pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, complete four years of professional experience, and pass the PE exam.

“I am thankful for the opportunities MEC has provided me to apply my technical expertise to the water/wastewater profession and am looking forward to expanding these opportunities in the future,” said Potter. He has been with the MEC team for four and half years.

Wolfe has been with the MEC team for five and a half years and was the 2015 recipient of the Mike Trotter Engineering Technical Excellence Award.The highly coveted honor is awarded to an MEC teammate each year for displaying outstanding technical engineering excellence.
