Ammar Wadi Passes Fundamentals of Engineering Exam

ammar wadiIraq native, Ammar Wadi, has passed his Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam – the first step in becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.

Ammar joined the McClure Engineering Company team in January 2016, and is a licensed engineering in Iraq with over 10 years of design experience. Since arriving in the United States, he has been working to complete his Master of Business Administration (MBA), taking ESL classes, and undergoing the process of transferring his education and experience to become licensed in the United States.

“Taking the FE many years after college is very difficult much less taking it in a second language!  We are very proud of Ammar and value his work on our small projects delivery group as a structural designer,” said Cody Dailey, Structural Team Leader.

The six hour FE exam includes 110-questions and has approximately a 67% first-time pass rate.
