Brian Meyer, PE Joins McClure

ANKENY, Iowa, December 14, 2021 – Brian has joined McClure’s Ankeny office as a Survey Resident Project Representative (RPR) Project Manager.

Meyer graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Iowa. Prior to joining McClure, Meyer worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation at the Grimes Construction office for six years. While he was employed with the Iowa DOT, Meyer held the positions of Engineer-in-Training, Assistant Resident Construction Engineer, and Resident Construction Engineer. In those roles, Meyer administered construction projects throughout the Des Moines metro including, the Interstate 80/35 and 100th Street Interchange in Urbandale, Interstate 35 and 1st Street Interchange in Ankeny, and the 80/35 Bridge Widening over the Des Moines River.

In his role, Meyer will be working as a RPR Project Manager to achieve our vision of making lives better. He said, ” I’m excited to work on the different projects across the state and get to know the other McClure team members.”

When asked what made him decide to join McClure, Meyer said, ” I decided to become a part of the McClure team because of the flexibility and the culture of the company. The availability of resources to get the job done was also extremely appealing.”
