CLIVE, IOWA, June 12, 2023 – Chasey Sedam has joined the Water team as a Staff Engineer.
Sedam graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Engineering Sustainability. Prior to joining McClure as a full-time employee, she had three summer internships with McClure: two for Survey and one for Water as an RPR. “I enjoyed my Survey internships and learned a lot about construction,” said Sedam. “I felt involved in every project from start to end. Most work cannot be done without a surveyor.” Sedam has worked in McClure’s Fort Dodge, Ankeny, and Clive offices.
In her full-time role, Sedam will be working in the Clive office to help achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. She is looking forward to being a team player and having a larger variety of work, including Sedam has already joined the volleyball team as well as taken over the office garden committee. When asked what made her decide to join McClure, she said, “I chose McClure because of their extreme care for each of their employees. Even when problems rarely happen, I have always felt very comfortable and heard by human resources and my superiors. I have learned so much over my time here so far and just feel an attraction to the new experiences with familiar faces. I feel that I have value to offer to McClure and can’t wait to see where this takes me.”
