CARROLL, Iowa, January 11, 2021 – Cody Forch, PE has joined the McClure team as a Team Leader for Transportation.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to provide a high level of service to clients and building a strong, diverse internal team,” said Forch. “I’ve been amazed by the professionalism and talent I’ve seen in my limited exposure to McClure.”
While attending Iowa State University, Forch had an internship at Iowa DOT working with district staff, materials, and construction. After graduation, he began his career as a Project Engineer working on the I-29 improvements in Sioux City. Since then, he’s spent nearly a decade working on various transportation projects, from new roadway alignment and storm sewer improvements to bridge replacements. “One of my more rewarding projects has been developing a Capital Improvement Plan for the City of Ida Grove,” said Forch. “Seeing the City refocus their efforts and begin working in unison after being fragmented before the plan was developed was neat to see.”
Forch has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University and is a licensed professional engineer in Iowa and South Dakota.
