Jacob Schanz Joins McClure

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, June 5, 2023 – Jacob Schanz has joined the Structural team as a Structural Designer.

Schanz graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining McClure, Schanz worked a co-op and internship at Ameren Transmission with their structural design team. In this role Schanz designed and reviewed drilled pier foundations for transmission poles and worked on feasibility studies for new lines.

Schanz will be working in the Columbia office to help achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to working with the Structural team. When asked what made him decide to join McClure, he said, “I decided to join the McClure team because of how friendly and outgoing everyone was that I talked to from the company. The office feels like a really great environment to foster success, and I wanted to be a part of a company with that kind of work environment.”
