NORTH KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, May 23, 2022 – Joy Rhea has joined McClure’s Landscape Architecture team as a Senior Landscape Architect.

Rhea graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture. She is a licensed Landscape Architect in Kansas and Missouri. Right out of school, she worked for Landplan Engineering, as an entry-level landscape architect for five years. Most recently, and prior to joining McClure, Rhea worked at Paul Werner Architects as a landscape architect for the last 12 years. While there, she worked on layouts, grading, drainage, and the landscaping aspects of all types of properties. Rhea’s experience ranges from multi-family, medical offices, commercial, industrial, and private residences to sports facilities.

At McClure, Rhea will collaborate with the firm’s Landscape Architecture team, engineers of other disciplines, and surveyors directly out of the North Kansas City office. When asked what made her decide to join McClure, she said, “I am looking forward to the positive work environment and being part of the multidisciplinary teams here at McClure.”
