Kate Jacoby Joins McClure

COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, May 31, 2023 – Kate Jacoby has joined the Structural team as a Structural Designer.

Jacoby graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. She also has an Engineer Intern (EI) certification. Prior to joining McClure, Jacoby worked at Allstate Consultants in the structural engineering department for three years. At Allstate Consultants, she worked on local engineering projects including wood, masonry, steel, and concrete design. Then she spent one year with A Civil Group where she broadened her engineering experience with civil engineering and surveying projects.

Jacoby will be working in the Columbia office to help achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. She is looking forward to the variety of projects, the opportunity to continue learning from each project, and the fun collaborative atmosphere at McClure. When asked what made her decide to join McClure, she said, “I am excited to join the McClure team to have the opportunity to work on a variety of structural engineering projects. During college, I interned at McClure and loved learning from the other structural team members. I am excited to be back and continue learning alongside my intelligent team and coworkers at McClure!”
