ANKENY, Iowa, May 21, 2021 – Kyle Bixler has joined the McClure team as a Crew Chief In-Training.

Prior to McClure, Bixler worked for his family’s construction company Bixler’s Construction, as well as The Weitz Company as a trade specialist. Bixler worked on projects like the Microsoft Data Buildings 9 and 10, Waldinger Headquarters and their prefab and warehouse buildings, Clive Behavior Hospital, Composite One, and Drake Harkins building. Bixler said, “I grew up learning carpentry at a young age and grew to enjoy the art. Through the work I have done at my family’s company and The Weitz Company, I developed a fascination for the layout of instruments and surveying.”

In his role, Bixler will be working with a team of survey professionals to achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. Bixler worked with Patrick Barber on the Clive Behavior Health, and Composite One projects, where he was introduced to McClure’s Vice President of Survey, Josh Doughan. Bixler is thrilled to be part of the McClure survey team. Bixler said, “With only one week down I have much to learn in the survey world, but I have great teachers and a great company to show me the way.”
