TULSA, Oklahoma, June 26, 2018 – McClure Energy Solutions’ Connor McGuiness and Connor Teel have earned Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) certifications, and Kyle Marlay has earned Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2) certification.

McGuiness, Teel, and Marlay are all based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. McGuiness is a corrosion technician and is excited to be able to apply his work experience toward this certification. “Thank you to my leadership and team mates for their support as I took the certification,” McGuiness said.

Teel is an integrity engineer with two years of experience. “I am thankful for the opportunity MES has provided to further my development of technical knowledge in cathodic protection applications. I look forward to leveraging my newly acquired knowledge for the benefit of the company,” says Teel.

Kyle Marlay is the CP & Integrity Managing Director with over 8 years of experience. “I appreciate the support of MES to invest in me as I grow through the different stages of my career,” Marlay stated.

CP1s, identified as Cathodic Protection Testers, are individuals with ability to test, evaluate, and design both galvanic and impressed current cathodic protection systems. CP2s, also called Cathodic Protection Technicians, are certified to perform similar actions as CP1s, with added education about gathering design data.
