Ryan Davis of McClure Engineering Co. passed the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer® (PTOE) exam to become one of 16 engineers with this certification in the State of Iowa.
“I’m humbled and honored to earn the PTOE certification,” said Davis. “It demonstrates the commitment I have made towards traffic engineering and being able to best serve the public and our clients.”
To be certified as a PTOE an engineer must have four years of Professional Engineering experience, hold a valid license in civil, mechanical, electrical, or general engineering, and take and attain a passing score on the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer® exam.

The PTOE certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and 3,148 individuals held the certification worldwide as of February 2, 2017.
