CLIVE, IOWA, February 27, 2023 – Ryan Mudge has joined McClure’s Structural team as an Engineering Technician.
Mudge graduated from Des Moines Area Community College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Architectural Technologies. The 2-year program was designed around the software AutoCAD and Revit. After college, he started his career at SB&A. He then worked at DreamScape home buildings, a custom home builder in the Des Moines area drawing construction docs for the general contractor. After DreamScape, Mudge worked at ETHOS Design group as an Architectural Designer. Some of his project experience included AG Express in Saylorville, Iowa, a new VA clinic in Decorah, IA, and Central Church in Oskaloosa, IA. He worked on construction documents, specs, and code plans, under the review of the Project Architect. Mudge has been in the field of Architecture for 5 years and specializes in construction documents, building designs, as well as code and spec information in the field of Architecture.
Mudge will be working alongside the Structural team to achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to working with the Structural team to create construction documents, while also carrying over architectural ideas and Revit knowledge to other disciplines within the firm.
When asked what made him decide to join McClure, he said, “I had previously worked with Dustin Leo, as an intern when he worked for JEO in Ankeny, and we continued to carry on a friendship after. I had reached out to him for some advice and direction with the goals I want to accomplish in my career. We both felt that McClure would be a great fit!”
