ANKENY, IOWA, January 18, 2023 – Steve Zimmerman has joined McClure’s Survey team as a Land Surveyor.

Zimmerman attended Anne Arundel Community College for his A.S. in Computer Science, the University of Maryland University College for his B.S. in Computer Information Science / Environmental Science, the University of Wyoming for his Certificate in Land Surveying and has three classes left to finish at the University of Maine for his B.S. in Surveying Engineering Technology. Zimmerman is also a licensed Surveyor in Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska. Before coming to McClure, Zimmerman worked in Maryland, Illinois, and Iowa as a Crew Chief. He most recently worked at Bishop Engineering as a licensed Surveyor.

Zimmerman will work alongside the Survey team to achieve the McClure vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to working in the office on Survey related projects including boundaries. When asked what made him decide to join McClure, he said, “Being able to work with friends, learn new things, and make the next step in my career.”
