McClure provided structural design services for a 150,000-square-foot healthcare expansion. The project includes a multi-story structure utilizing concrete and cold-formed steel systems. Lower podium and garage levels are anticipated to consist of post-tensioned concrete decks with cast-in-place walls and foundations. Above the concrete podium, up to three stories of load-bearing cold-formed steel walls are supported by cold-formed joists or bar joists and floor decking. The healthcare wing expansion includes two stories of load-bearing cold-formed steel constructed over an optional precast basement, with McClure serving as engineer of record.
