INDEPENDENCE UPTOWN MARKET
Project Overview
The City of Independence moved its farmers’ market to a permanent facility that features an enclosed pavilion and a standalone open-air facility. The project team worked to understand and implement the strategic plan of the mayor, city manager, public works department, and community stakeholders within a highly accelerated timeline, completing design and construction in under ten months.
McClure provided its survey, design, and construction services to the project. It first tasked the in-house survey department with performing detailed topographic and boundary surveys of the project limits and developing an accurate base map. McClure also developed a site layout and grading and drainage concepts.
