NORTH LIBERTY, Iowa, May 24, 2021 – Andy VanSickle has joined the McClure team as a Staff Engineer.

Andy graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a Water Resources emphasis. After graduating, VanSickle accepted an internship with McClure. He has interned for McClure the last two summers before accepting a full-time position. VanSickle has already made strides by working on the Bettendorf, IA SSES project during his first summer and then his second summer working as a Resident Project Representative (RPR) in Tipton, IA and Fairfield, IA, while also doing smoke testing in Bettendorf. Prior to his internship and attending the University of Iowa, he was enlisted in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

In his role, Andy will be working with the team of water professionals to achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to working with everyone on the water team and officially becoming part of the McClure family.

When asked why he wanted to join the McClure team, VanSickle said, “I decided to join McClure because of the experience I had as an intern and the relationships I built with the team. I also like the projects that McClure has done in the past and where it’s going for the future.”
