
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, January 6, 2024 – Bill Travers has joined McClure’s Transportation team as a Senior Transportation Advisor.
Travers graduated from Southeastern Massachusetts University (now University of Massachusetts Dartmouth) with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Before joining McClure, Travers spent 39 years with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) in various civil engineering roles. Most recently, he served as the District Operations Engineer for MassDOT’s District 5 Office, overseeing all district engineering activities and working closely with municipalities and legislators. Earlier in his career, he held positions such as Assistant District Project Development Engineer, Assistant Projects Engineer, and District Resurfacing Engineer.
Travers will work alongside the Transportation team to achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to this new chapter of his career, collaborating with the team, and sharing his experience and expertise. When asked what led him to join McClure, he shared, “I was impressed with the culture of collaboration at McClure and the opportunities for expanding the company into the New England region.”
