COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA, February 17, 2025 – Blake Elder has joined McClure’s Survey team as a Crew Member.
Elder earned a Liberal Arts, Math, and Science Certificate with a Chemistry concentration from Metropolitan Community College. Before joining McClure, he worked as a Field Engineer at Hawkins Construction Company, where he tracked quantities, equipment, and personnel hours; conducted quality control testing for concrete; submitted pay estimates; and coordinated subcontractor schedules to keep projects on track.
Elder will work alongside the Survey team to achieve McClure’s vision of making lives better. He looks forward to being involved in the various civil infrastructure projects in the area. When asked what led him to join McClure, he said, “I’ve always been passionate about civil engineering, so joining McClure and collaborating with the engineers felt like the perfect opportunity.”
