PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, September 22, 2025 – McClure is excited to welcome Chris Mellen to the Aviation team as a Resident Project Representative.
Mellen is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2019.
Before joining McClure, he spent five years with Hoyle Tanner in Manchester, New Hampshire, serving as a Project Engineer and Resident Project Representative within the Aviation group. In this role, he worked in a near 50/50 split between airport design projects and on-site airport construction inspection, gaining valuable experience across both technical and field operations.
At McClure, he will continue his work in the Aviation group as a Resident Project Representative, doing similar work to his previous role. He looks forward to expanding his skills while contributing to the continued growth and success of McClure’s aviation practice.
When asked what led him to McClure, he shared, “The people. I’m joining some familiar faces here at McClure, Tim Audet, Justin Keefe, and Robby Moon. After meeting the rest of the McClure Aviation team and learning about the work culture and atmosphere, it was a no-brainer.”
