Connor Spading

CORALVILLE, IOWA, April 2, 2025 – Connor Spading has joined McClure’s Water team as a Process Engineer.

Spading earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iowa. Prior to joining McClure, he worked at Cargill as a Project Reliability Engineer, where he focused on ensuring that new systems and equipment were designed for long-term reliability and efficiency.

In his new role, Spading will collaborate with McClure’s Water team to help achieve the firm’s vision of making lives better. “I’m excited to be on the other side of the table, so to speak,” he said. “I’ve spent a lot of time in the ‘customer’ seat, reviewing and challenging designs and proposals. Now, I’m looking forward to being part of the team that creates them.” When asked what led him to McClure, Spading shared, “I decided to join the McClure team for the opportunity to learn and grow in a new-to-me industry while also using the skillset I’ve already built.”
