ANKENY, IOWA, June 1, 2026- McClure is pleased to welcome Drew Munson to the Transportation team as a Staff Engineer.
Drew earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from William Jewell College. He passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and holds several industry certifications, including Aggregate Sampler, HMA Sampler, and Portland Cement Concrete Level 1, demonstrating his technical knowledge and dedication to professional development.
Before joining full-time, Drew gained valuable hands-on experience through multiple internships with McClure. He served as a Transportation Intern in Carroll during the summers of 2024 and 2025, as well as an On-Site Representative Intern in Ankeny in 2025. Drew also worked as a ground crew member at the Carroll Country Club.
Through his internships, Drew supported transportation projects in both field and office settings, building a strong foundation in engineering processes.These experiences played a significant role in his decision to continue his career with McClure.
In his new role as a Staff Engineer, Drew is excited to apply his education in a professional setting. Drew shared that he has enjoyed his time with McClure and considers it a great place for continued professional growth and development.
