NORTH KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, September 15, 2025 – McClure is excited to welcome Jeff Means as a Project Manager on the Survey team.
Jeff earned his Associate of Science in Construction Engineering from Missouri Western State University and is a licensed Surveyor in both Missouri and Kansas. He brings 30 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in private development and subdivision work across the Kansas City region.
Before joining McClure, Jeff spent nine years at Olsson as a Team Lead and Senior Surveyor. He oversaw the North Kansas City Survey office and coordinated efforts with offices across the country. Prior to Olsson, he worked at BHC RHODES for three years as a Survey Project Manager, where he played a key role in a major initiative with Google to establish its fiber optic network in the Kansas City area – starting with hub stations and expanding to hundreds of miles of backbone fiber along MoDOT and Kansas City right-of-ways to reach neighborhoods, homes, and businesses.
At McClure, Jeff will collaborate with the Survey team to help advance the firm’s vision of making lives better. He’s excited to join a large, experienced local group, and looks forward to what they can accomplish together. Jeff is passionate about both sharing knowledge and staying current with the latest field equipment and technology. When asked what brought him to McClure, he shared: “I’ve known several McClure team members for years and they’ve always spoken highly of the work environment. McClure has a strong reputation in the Kansas City area, and I’ve always held myself and the companies I work for to a high standard. McClure definitely meets that standard.”
