John has recently assumed the role of Massachusetts Operations Director at McClure. With over 27 years of experience in transportation improvement projects, he brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Throughout his career, John has overseen a wide array of initiatives encompassing highway, traffic, and complete streets design and construction services. Known for his innovative approach, he consistently strives to find cost-effective solutions that deliver results. His professional journey spans both public and private sectors, encompassing project management, roadway and bike path design, intersection and interchange design (including roundabouts), storm drain design, traffic signing and pavement marking design, traffic signal design, and construction traffic management. John also possesses in-depth knowledge of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) approval process, particularly concerning state highway permit projects and state/federal aid projects.
