
COLUMBIA, MISSOURI, January 5, 2026 – McClure is excited to welcome John Wibbenmeyer to the Structural team, where he will serve as a Structural Designer supporting the Enclosures and Interiors team.
John graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in and later earned his Master of Business Administration. He has also passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam and holds his E.I. certification.
Through his undergraduate studies, John gained hands-on experience as a Survey Field Worker with Baer Engineering in Perryville, Missouri, where he performed GPS surveying and developed existing surface condition drawings using Civil 3D AutoCAD. He also explored construction management as a Project Manager Intern with ARCO National Construction in St. Louis, Missouri. John joined McClure as an intern in Land Development during the summer of 2025 before transitioning to the Structural team.
When asked what drew him to McClure, John shared “Celeste Spickert and Patrick Earney greatly influenced me to join the McClure team as an intern, especially talking with them at the Mizzou Engineering Career Fair. Patrick taught me Structural Analysis at Mizzou and Celeste grew up in the same hometown as me! My internship experience at McClure, especially my onboarding with Colin Trotter, showed me that McClure was a great place to start my professional career. McClure has great people, benefits, work-life balance, and provides an environment to grow as a young engineer.”
