PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, June 15, 2026- McClure is pleased to welcome Josh Alpert to the Development team as a Staff Engineer.
Josh graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2026 with his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. During his time and UNH, he completed several internships that helped prepare him for a full-time role. In the summer of 2024, he worked with TEC Inc. on the Transit team, followed by an internship with Dubay Group focusing on land development. During his final semester of college, Josh interned for McClure, gaining valuable experience that positioned him well for his future with the firm.
Through these experiences, Josh built a strong foundation in civil engineering and developed the skills needed to succeed in professional environments. Exposure to multiple areas of the industry helped him refine his interests and better understand the type of work he wanted to pursue.
Now at McClure, Josh serves as a Staff Engineer on the Development team in the Portsmouth office. He looks forward to contributing to a wide variety of projects while building relationships and collaborating with team members across the Portsmouth and Boston offices.
When asked what led him to join McClure full time, Josh shared that the company’s work environment stood out right away. He was drawn to the balance of meaningful work and a supportive culture along with the opportunity to collaborate with a strong team. Most importantly, McClure offered the type of projects and career path he had envisioned while pursuing his degree, making the decision to join the team feel like a natural next step.
