PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, July 16, 2024 – Portland Foreside Development Company LLC has selected McClure as its Civil Engineering partner for their highly anticipated 10-acre development, located along Portland’s historic eastern waterfront. The new Foreside neighborhood will include nearly 400 residential units, a 128-room luxury hotel, and 50,000 square feet dedicated to retail, restaurant, and service businesses. Overall, the project is expected to encompass 1.5 million square feet.
The McClure team, led by Project Manager Lindsey DiTonno, PE and Senior Engineer John Osorio, PE will be responsible for the supporting infrastructure, including roadways, sidewalks, public gathering spaces, multi-use path and railroad relocation, in addition to coordinating the building designs with the various architect partners and the support of excavation of the structural walls. This transformative project promises a vibrant mix of shops, restaurants, fresh food markets, workspaces, and residences, reshaping the community and enhancing the historic charm of Portland’s eastern waterfront.
