McClure Expands Leadership Team

Clive, Iowa, January 30, 2025 – Midwest-based McClure, a firm specializing in Civil, Structural, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering and Surveying has named new and existing leaders as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans.

“Each of these leaders has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and vision in their respective roles. I am confident that their leadership will propel McClure to new heights as we continue to innovate and serve our clients and communities,” said Dustin Leo, CEO of McClure.

As of January 2025, the firm has named the following individuals to new leadership roles:

Erica Tietz, SHRM-CP, MBA, Chief People Officer (CPO)

Promoted to Chief People Officer, Tietz will lead McClure’s human resources and talent strategy, championing employee engagement, unique benefits, and professional development. With her extensive background in human resources leadership, Tietz is well-positioned to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture that supports the company’s long-term success.

Christopher Clement, Chief Government Relations Officer (CGRO)

In the role of Chief Government Relations Officer, Christopher Clement will spearhead McClure’s efforts in public policy, advocacy, and collaboration with government entities. With his experience in public leadership including the State of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and building partnerships across agencies, Clement will strengthen the company’s ability to contribute to and influence key infrastructure and development initiatives.

Christer Ericsson, Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

As Chief Growth Officer, Christer Ericsson will continue to foster organic growth across all markets while overseeing the integration of McClure’s mergers and acquisitions. He brings a proven track record of leading large organizations and will focus on the successful growth of McClure nationally.

John Osorio, East Coast Regional Leader

In the role of East Coast Regional Leader, Osorio will oversee client relationships and project delivery across the Eastern United States. He brings extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects and a deep understanding of regional market dynamics, positioning McClure for continued growth and success on the East Coast.

Justin Vogel, Midwest Regional Leader

As Midwest Regional Leader, Vogel will support McClure’s organic growth throughout the Midwest, including the firm’s eleven offices across Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. Vogel’s strong ability to build relationships will continue to assist McClure in growing market share throughout the region for all disciplines.

Jenna Abbott, Vice President of Support Services

Promoted to Vice President of Support Services, Abbott will lead McClure’s internal support services, including IT, Legal, Marketing, and Communications, ensuring the seamless delivery of support that empowers the entire organization. Her tenure through McClure’s past decade of growth and background in marketing and information systems makes Abbott an asset in enhancing efficiency and operational excellence.

Scott Port, Vice President of Transportation

In the role of Vice President of Transportation, Port will lead the discipline across all markets and provide strategic leadership to support the team’s growth and operations. Port’s nearly two decades of experience in the industry positions him as a strong technical leader.

Joe Johnson, Market Leader

Promoted to Market Leader, Johnson will work closely with Port to support Transportation growth and operations on the East Coast and across the United States. Johnson’s knowledge of the industry, ability to build relationships, and his technical expertise will continue to make McClure a great partner to local, state, and federal transportation agencies and clients.
