CLIVE, IOWA, August 10, 2026 – McClure is pleased to welcome Mike Siedsma to the Development team as a Team Leader.
Mike brings over 15 years of experience in civil engineering and development, with extensive experience in development services. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in 2009 and a Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from Kansas State University in 2016. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa, Minnesota, and Texas.
Most recently, Mike spent nine years with Casey’s, where he led engineering and development teams. In this role, he managed more than 20 consultant firms with an annual spend exceeding $12 million. He also oversaw civil standards, quality control, estimating, building and petro design, and entitlement and permitting management. Prior to Casey’s, Mike worked at HR Green, where he advanced from intern to a Water Project Engineer.
At McClure, Mike will focus on strengthening collaboration across teams while supporting the growth of the firm’s Development team. He is excited to help expand client partnerships, build lasting relationships, and enhance McClure’s development services capabilities.
Mike was drawn to McClure’s entrepreneurial mindset, commitment to growth, and collaborative culture. Through the interview process, he developed a strong appreciation for the culture and people who make the company unique.
