Adam Knier Joins McClure

NORTH KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, March 21, 2022 – Adam Knier has joined the McClure team as a Mobile Mapping Specialist.

Knier received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University. After graduation, Knier worked as a Crew Chief for McClure’s survey team in Iowa before taking a position at Jviation (a Woolpert Company). At Jviation, Knier was a surveyor/survey phase manager, focused on aviation and airport design surveys. He gained experience working in more than 12 states and over 50 airports across the United States. He completed all types of surveys including engineering design surveys, approach protection surveys, boundary surveys, airports GIS surveys, and use of mobile LiDAR on large runway/taxiway projects.

At McClure, Knier is working to develop a process for and implement the use of mobile mapping technology to serve the engineering teams and state transportation departments. “I am excited to bring my previous experience and knowledge in mobile mapping to the survey department at McClure,” said Knier. “I have known several members of the McClure team over the years, and the company culture and vision make for a great atmosphere. McClure serves its clients incredibly well and empowers their team members to be successful in their careers and have fun in the process.”
