Greg Pfau, landscape architect McClure Engineering Company (MEC) announced the hiring of Greg Pfau as landscape architect.

Teaming with project managers in MEC’s infrastructure division, Pfau will provide landscape design and architecture for a variety of projects involving planning, transportation, site design, and water and wastewater management.

Pfau has more than eight years of experience with architectural and engineering firms, and has worked on an array of projects, including master planning, professional sport venues, site design, stormwater management and transportation.

“For me, it’s about taking projects my clients have always had in their head and bringing them to life,” said Pfau. “I enjoy interpreting what a client wants and providing something above and beyond what they expected to see.”

A licensed landscape architect in Missouri and Kansas, Pfau has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Kansas State University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

“Although it might be small in terms of the project budget, the landscape architecture is often the first part of a project that people see. It’s the rug that ties the room together between the civil engineer’s work and the architecture,” said Pfau.
