DECORAH, Iowa, May 18, 2021 – James Groux of Decorah, Iowa has been awarded the 2020-2021 Adam J. Bohr Memorial Engineering Scholarship. The scholarship is given by the Bohr family and McClure of Clive, Iowa in honor of the late Mr. Adam J. Bohr. The scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing the field of engineering and is based on scholastic standing, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.
Groux will receive $4,000, paid over two years, for his pursuit of engineering study. He is graduating from Decorah High School and plans to attend the University of Iowa to study Mechanical Engineering.
