CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, June 1, 2022 – Jeremy Sheets has joined McClure’s Transportation team as an Engineering Technician.
Sheets received his Bachelor’s in Architectural and Civil Design. He has been in the A/E/C industry for 24 years and brings a diverse background to the tam. Prior to McClure, he worked at Snyder & Associates (2001 – 2006), Olsson & Associates (2006 – 2008), HR Green (2008 – 2016), JEO Consulting Group (2016 – 2018), and Snyder & Associates (2018 – 2022). Sheets has worked on projects in Arizona, California, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Texas. He has also worked with DOT’s, city governments, Iowa DNR, and land developers for residential and commercial uses.
In his role, Sheets will be working with the Transportation team to achieve our vision of making lives better. As an Engineering Technician he will set up plans, horizontal design, vertical design, and 3D modeling, as well as will train team members on how to use and be proficient in MicroStation. When asked what made him decide to join McClure, Sheets said, “I know several McClure team members who all had great things to say about the McClure culture. This is also a great personal growth opportunity for me to help start a new office in a new market and help strengthen the Transportation team.”
