Clive, Iowa, January 4, 2024 – Midwest-based McClure, a firm specializing in Civil, Structural, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering and Surveying has named new and existing leaders as part of the firm’s strategic growth plans.

As of January 2024, the firm has named the following individuals to new leadership roles:
Christer Ericsson has spent over 29 years with a national civil engineering firm, leading an organization of nearly 2,000 team members in 47 offices throughout 20 states. He has joined the McClure team as East Region President.

Chris Clement has shifted into the role of Chief Growth Officer (CGO) overseeing the overall growth strategy. The growth team includes McClure’s Market Leaders and Business Development Leads who bring over 140 years of industry experience and expertise. McClure’s Growth Team will be focused on helping the firm achieve both short and long-term growth goals nationwide.

McClure’s Growth Team, in addition to Chris, includes:
- Coby Crowl, Market Leader (North Kansas City, MO) has wide-ranging experience as a civil engineering consultant and has served as project principal, manager, or engineer on a variety of projects for both private and public sectors.
- Derick Anderson, Market Leader (Clive, IA) has deep experience in the public sector including complex infrastructure improvements.
- Tony Coviello, Market Leader (Portsmouth, NH) brings nationwide structural engineering expertise and relationships. Tony joined McClure through the acquisition of Iron Engineering.
- George Campbell, Business Development Lead (New England/Florida) brings experience in transportation, municipal, and economic development sectors as well as serving as Commissioner with two state departments and as Mayor of Portland, Maine.
Additional hires and promotions within McClure’s leadership team include:
Justin Humke has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) leading the integration of McClure’s business services with the growth and consulting teams.
Rounding out the leadership team, McClure has six Vice Presidents and four additional business services leaders in existing roles:
- Andy Maysent, Vice President leads McClure’s Aviation team with over 20 years of airport engineering experience and a thorough understanding of the FAA policies, design standards, and grant process.
- Cody Dailey, Vice President leads McClure’s Structural team and provides vast design experience including multistory steel structures, structures with irregular lateral systems, high seismic, multi-story wood construction, multi-story cold-formed steel structures, and DOD blast resistant design, among many others.
- Dan Duve is the Chief Financial Officer overseeing accounting and financial operations.
- Erica Tietz is the Human Resources Officer responsible for people initiatives including recruiting, benefits, training and development, and organizational wellness.
- Gary Brons, Vice President leads McClure’s Water and Wastewater team providing strong expertise in financing infrastructure improvements through SRF, CDBG, EDA, USDA-RD, Revenue Bonds, GO Bonds, and TIF along with negotiating agreements with major utility customers.
- Jenna Abbott is the Director of Marketing, Engagement, and Communications and leads the organization’s marketing efforts, corporate governance, and strategic communications.
- Josh Doughan, Vice President leads McClure’s Survey team and has grown McClure’s survey services to include successful projects of all sizes, ranging from residential site plans to multi-million dollar industrial and transportation sites.
- Justin Vogel, Vice President leads McClure’s Transportation, Bridge, and Environmental teams building relationships for success with new and long-term clients across the Midwest.
- Nick Hansen, Vice President leads McClure’s Development team and has a diverse background working in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry across multiple markets and large-scale firms.
- Rose Gillen is the Director of Operations overseeing facilities, professional liability, and contract management.
