NORTH KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, January 8, 2024 – Michael Modrell has joined McClure’s Aviation team as a Project Manager.

Modrell graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Design, with an Aviation minor. Before joining McClure, Modrell worked for Burns & McDonnell Engineering in Kansas City, MO in the Aviation and Federal – Civil Group, specializing in civil design, aviation master planning, and construction administration services for commercial and general aviation airports nationwide. After that he became a Project Manager for a commercial real estate developer, specializing in new ground-up distribution center developments around the United States, managing a project portfolio of $500 million and over 8-million square feet of new developments nationally.

Modrell will work alongside the Aviation team to achieve the McClure vision of making lives better. He is looking forward to taking his aviation and project management background and growing McClure’s aviation presence in the Missouri and Kansas markets. “Our airports are often the first impression to travelers and visitors – by increasing the quality and capacity, the economic impacts are limitless,” said Modrell. When asked what made him decide to join McClure, he said, “That’s easy – it’s the culture; happy employees create happy clients. My decision to join McClure was almost instantaneous following the first interview with the Aviation team. Anyone can deliver a product to a client– not everyone truly cares about the quality of that product and the client.”
