CLIVE, IOWA, August 22, 2023 – Nick Hansen has joined McClure as Vice President, Development.
Hansen graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining McClure, Hansen had accumulated over 15 years of experience in customer service, sales, and management. He initiated his career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he initially oversaw a 5-member branch, eventually progressing to a more expansive role entailing the management of a larger team spanning Central Iowa. Within this capacity, his responsibilities encompassed driving growth, revenue, profitability, customer service, and employee retention. Hansen then worked at DLR Group where he led multiple business development teams in multiple sectors including K12, Higher Education, and Private Development. His main responsibilities were new fee growth and client retention. After that, he took on a national role in the Mixed-Use/Housing sector leading a team for the Eastern United States in the growth of staff and revenue as well as opening new markets for the business (Charlotte, Atlanta, Texas).
Hansen will be working in McClure’s Clive office but managing teams across all geographic markets. He is looking forward to getting to know the team and collaborating with them to foster both business expansion and career development. When asked what made him decide to join McClure, he said, “The people and the vision of the company. I have known McClure team members for quite a few years and have heard the amazing reviews they have given the McClure family. When I met with Dustin and Terry and learned more about the vision of McClure and how I would fit into that vision and team, it sealed the deal.”
