Nick Holcomb Joins McClure

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA, May 5, 2025 – Nick Holcomb has joined McClure’s Survey team as a Crew Member.

Holcomb graduated from Metropolitan Community College with a degree in Applied Sciences in Construction Management. He served ten years in the U.S. Army f, with multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan as a Forward Observer and Scout. Following his military service, he worked in the private military sector overseas, holding leadership roles including QRF Commander, Shift Supervisor, and Guardian Angel team members. Holcomb also earned a degree in Firearms Technology with a gunsmithing certification and has experience as a concealed carry instructor. His career path has included roles in the gas and oil industry, landscaping, and training – experiences that reflect his adaptability and leadership.

In his new role at McClure, Holcomb will support the Survey team in advancing the firm’s vision of making lives better. Eager to grow in the surveying field, Holcomb shared, “I got an email from Indeed and thought, why not try it? They said no experience was necessary, and it turned out to be a great fit for everyone involved!”
