CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA, June 1, 2026- McClure is excited to welcome Nick to the Transportation team as a Staff Engineer.
Nick earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa, graduating in 2026. His academic background, combined with several hands-on internship experiences, has provided him with a strong foundation in transportation engineering and field operations.
Prior to joining McClure full-time, Nick completed an internship with the firm during the summer of 2025, where he supported construction observation efforts and assisted with roadway design for transportation projects. Earlier in his college career, he interned with the Lake County, Illinois Department of Transportation, gaining valuable experience conducting traffic counts and supporting signal timing initiatives. Through these opportunities, Nick developed practical knowledge in both transportation systems and on-site project coordination.
As a Staff Engineer on McClure’s Transportation team, Nick will contribute to a variety of projects while continuing to expand his technical expertise and professional experience. He is especially eager to continue learning in a collaborative environment and expanding his hands-on experience within the industry.
