McClure provided survey, permitting, and both preliminary and final design services for the "Q.3-7.0 Guard Rail Improvements" project. The scope involved extending an existing triple-cell reinforced concrete box (RCB) on 159th Street in Johnson County, Kansas. The structure required extensions on both ends to support roadway widening and facilitate guardrail improvements. The final design incorporated cast-in-place concrete construction for the RCB extensions and included the design of new Midwest Guardrail System (MGS) guardrail.
