This pavement rehabilitation project encompasses a 2.3‑mile segment of Route 16 in the towns of Stratton and Coplin, Maine. The work focuses on improving roadway condition, safety, and long‑term performance along this important travel corridor.
The project includes full depth reclamation (FDR) to rebuild the pavement structure and restore ride quality, along with targeted drainage improvements designed to enhance stormwater management and reduce future maintenance needs. Upgrades to the highway guard system are also included to bring roadside safety features up to current standards. Together, these improvements will support more reliable travel and extend the service life of this section of Route 16.
