Southwest State Street Reconstruction of Southbound Lanes
Ankeny, IA
Southwest State Street is a heavily traveled arterial roadway in Ankeny, Iowa. The existing roadway was experiencing deteriorating pavement, so the City of Ankeny hired McClure to design the reconstruction of the southbound lanes, from Southwest Ordnance Road to West First Street. The project included reconstruction of the existing PCC pavement, subdrain and storm sewer installation, raised PCC medians, ADA sidewalk ramps, new pedestrian push button pedestals, pavement markings, and signing.
