GALLERIA MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT
Project Overview
McClure led the civil engineering aspect of land planning for this 45+/- acres project. Block Real Estate Services was our client led by Ken Block, President. Services included surveying, civil engineering to include public improvements, intersection improvements, sanitary sewer extensions, site parking lots and private drives and storm water quantity and quality treatment facilities. Project to date has included banking, fast food restaurants, sit down restaurants, over 500 multifamily units, commercial and retail shops and a planned recreational complex.
Project Highlights:
- The land planning component of this project required rezoning, land use intensity factors, multi city reviews and coordination efforts.
- Collection and treatment of storm water required design of underground treatment areas as well as approvals from downstream cities: Leawood, KS.
- Earthwork balance was a key component of this project as it has be active for over 4 construction seasons, phasing, stockpile placement and erosion control during the phasing of this project.
