OAKWOOD COUNTRY CLUB
Project Overview
McClure was selected to provide design services for a clubhouse expansion, parking lot additions, golf course modifications, new Par 3, 12-hole golf course, driving range reconstruction, and a teaching center. Design services were also provided to construct new lakes for additional irrigation across the golf course. In addition, McClure provided surveying ond civil design services to relocate the maintenance building, which was necessary due to the addition of several new golf course holes. Finally, McClure provided planning and civil design services to support residential housing
improvements near the Par 3 golf course. The residential units will provide housing opportunities for weddings, tournament events, and as investment property for nationwide members of Oakwood Country Club.
Project Highlights:
- McClure perforned design services to expand the existing course by adding several new holes, as well as the expansion of the Par 3 golf course.
- The existing utilities were outdated and required upgrades to meet current codes and support the maintenance of this facility, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
- Design of a private housing community for the club, to be utilized by members from out of town and to provide short-term housing for events and wedding parties held at the club.
