WEST DES MOINES AMPHITHEATER

Project Overview

McClure was hired on to the team for the design of a new multi-purpose, 2000-seat amphitheater for the City of West Des Moines. McClure was teamed with Confluence to provide preliminary survey and mapping in support of the design team. McClure utilized traditional survey methods combined with UAV (drone) survey technology to provide a quick turnaround for the engineers and architects. The UAV captured high-resolution imagery of the project site for use during design.

McClure has also been retained by the City of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department to provide construction staking services for this complex project. Our crews are providing layout for the grading and underground utility contractors that are currently on site. McClure provided topographic survey, UAV imagery, and construction staking services.
