PORTSMOUTH, NEW HAMPSHIRE, July 6, 2026- McClure is pleased to welcome Rob Betz to the Transportation team as a Project Manager.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Maine. He brings extensive experience in transportation engineering, project management, construction oversight, and highway design, developed through nearly 20 years of service with the Maine Department of Transportation.
During his career with MaineDOT, Rob advanced from Chief Inspector to Regional Engineer, leading the planning, delivery, and management of transportation infrastructure projects across the region. He played a key role in restoring and improving critical public infrastructure, supporting emergency recovery efforts following severe storm events while also supporting long-term transportation improvements for Maine communities.
In his role as Transportation Project Manager at McClure, Rob will partner with clients to develop practical, effective transportation solutions that maximize available resources and deliver lasting value. Drawing on his extensive background in transportation infrastructure, he focuses on delivering cost-effective improvements that enhance system performance, safety, and reliability.
Rob first became familiar with McClure while working with the firm as a client during its expansion into Maine. He was drawn to McClure’s unique ability to combine the personalized service and responsiveness of a smaller firm with the expertise, resources, and multidisciplinary capabilities of a larger organization, creating a strong foundation for successful project delivery.
