CLIVE, IOWA, May 21, 2024 – McClure is excited to announce the promotions of 15 team members in Q1 2024.

Jesse Barnes, PE, SE – Team Leader
Jesse brings nine years of experience in nearly all aspects of structural design and was promoted from Project Manager to Team Leader. He has worked on many high-profile projects and helped to ensure the product exceeds even the client’s expectations. His experience includes residential and commercial buildings constructed of cold formed steel, hot rolled steel, wood, concrete, and concrete masonry units. Jesse is well known among McClure’s clients for providing excellent service through both communication and engineering services.

Alec Fuller, PLS – Team Leader
Alec was promoted from Project Manager to Team Leader for the Survey Team where he is responsible for managing and providing support to a team of project managers and professional land surveyors. He also manages a variety of construction staking, boundary, and preliminary design surveys across Iowa. Alec has obtained valuable experience in detailed construction layout for large-scale transportation, building, and grading sites. He has also worked on numerous preliminary design surveys across the State of Iowa providing him with knowledge on 3D scanning, topographic and boundary surveys.

Ryan Fuller, PE – Team Leader
Ryan served as a Project Manager and Project Engineer on McClure’s Development team and has recently stepped into the role of Team Leader. Ryan understands the importance of communication to a project’s success. The stakeholders and influencers on a project can be far-reaching, ranging from city officials, curators, government agencies, or the local public. Ryan’s understanding of the structures and processes will allow him to effectively communicate with all parties involved resulting in efficient project delivery.

Brian Kemp – Team Leader
Brian was promoted to Team Leader for McClure’s Development Group based in North Kansas City. With over 25 years of civil engineering experience, he has had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in several states and jurisdictions. His project experience includes working on municipal projects, sports facilities, schools, jails, residential and commercial subdivisions, healthcare facilities, and a wide variety of commercial and multi-family private developments. Kemp’s team has grown to become McClure’s nationwide development team, serving large clients with multi-location facilities across the United States.

Ian Davis – Project Manager
Ian served as a Project Engineer for McClure’s Water Team in the Sioux City office and has recently been promoted to Project Manager. Ian works to apply innovative water engineering to improve the lives of Iowa residents.

Will Cord, PE – Project Manager
Will served as a Structural Engineer before being promoted to Project Manager. He brings more than 8 years of structural engineering experience and has completed the design and detailing of concrete, prestressed concrete, composite, steel, and CFMF members for numerous building structures. He is well versed in the analysis and design of midrise podium structures with parking garages. Will has experience designing post-tensioned slabs and podiums, concrete and steel stadium design, as well as completing rigging analysis of long-span roofs for concerts.

Lee Strait – Project Manager
Lee has been promoted to Project Manager. His varied career experiences have centered around industrial sustainability, renewable energy and urban water quality. Most recently, Lee has worked on projects including urban stream and lake rehabilitation, hydraulic modeling of solar energy developments, and constructed wetlands as stormwater treatment.

Alex Schlader, PE – Project Manager
Alex served as a Project Engineer before being promoted to Project Manager. He brings 9 years of experience in project management, technical design, and construction administration for a wide range of projects in the DOT, municipal and county markets. Alex combines technical insight with strategic project management to consistently deliver successful project deliveries.

Austin Moran, PE – Project Manager
Austin served as a Project Engineer on McClure’s Aviation Team and has recently been promoted to Project Manager. He provides McClure’s aviation clients with design, bidding, grant administration and application, construction administration, and grant closeout services. Austin also has experience in developing state and federal grant application packages for our clients for each fiscal year.

Colton Hoffmann, PE – Senior Project Engineer
Colton is a Senior Design Engineer in McClure’s transportation department. With over eight years of expertise in technical engineering design, Colton has proven himself as an invaluable asset to both McClure and its clients. His experience includes managing client relationships, overseeing project development, leading technical design, and mentoring junior team members. He has worked on a wide range of projects including roadway reconstruction, pavement rehabilitation, utility design, roundabout design, and ADA sidewalk and trail design. He consistently demonstrates a deep understanding of the complexities of civil engineering design, which aids in delivering successful projects to McClure’s clients.

Betsy Ridout, CDMP, PCM – Digital Marketing Coordinator
Betsy joined McClure in 2022 as a Marketing and Communications Assistant and was promoted earlier this year to Digital Marketing Coordinator. In her role, Betsy supports all of McClure’s digital marketing efforts including social media, search engine optimization, content creation, and more. She also received her Certified Digital Marketing Professional and Professional Certified Marketer dual certification in late 2023.

Kaleb Noonan, PE – Project Engineer
Kaleb passed the Professional Engineer (PE) exam and was promoted to Project Engineer. His project experience includes roadway reconstructions, trail design, site layout design, storm and sanitary sewer system analysis and design, water main design, building demolition plans, ADA sidewalk design, and construction administration/observation.

Anthony Kersey – Field Support Manager
Anthony moved into the role of Field Support Manager where he is responsible for mentoring staff, providing on-site assistance, and in-office support to McClure’s survey crews.

Bart Zimmer – Estimator
Bart moved into the role of Estimator, providing estimating services for survey clients primarily in the Iowa market.
