DES MOINES, IOWA, April 30, 2026- McClure is pleased to welcome Ted Jansen to the Survey team as a Market Leader.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Simpson College and an Associate of Applied Science in Commercial Horticulture from DMACC. He brings a unique combination of hands-on field experience, public service, and long-term client relationship building to this role. Raised on his family farm in Jasper County, Ted helped grow row crops, and he has served the Ankeny community as a firefighter/EMT for 15 years.
Ted began his career in the industry as a field technician on a survey crew, supporting construction, preliminary, and boundary survey efforts. He quickly advanced to survey crew leader, specializing in construction layout while building trusted relationships with clients and contractors. Over the past 12 years, Ted has transitioned into project management, leading construction survey projects with a focus on business development, relationship management, and delivering high-level customer service to ensure projects succeed.
At McClure, Ted will serve as a Market Leader, driving growth through strong, lasting client relationships and strategic collaboration across the company. By aligning strategy, sales, and delivery, he will help create exceptional client experiences that turn partnerships into clients for life, advancing successful outcomes and reinforcing McClure’s commitment to making lives better.
