McClure served as the structural engineer for the project, bringing deep expertise in load-bearing cold-formed steel (CFS) framing. Our team worked closely with the architect and construction partners from the outset, prioritizing detailed coordination and constructability. This collaborative approach resulted in a highly efficient design that streamlined construction and ensured quality. During a final site visit, the McClure team was praised as part of the “dream team” and invited to collaborate again—a testament to the project’s success and strong team dynamics.

Highlights
- The building is constructed of eight levels of loading bearing CFS on top of 4 levels of PT concrete
- During the Construction Document phase of the project, McClure participated in the AOR’s BIM 360 project to facilitate quick and accurate information sharing between disciplines
- As a result of the “early and often” nature of the design coordination, the CFS structure was completed quickly and accurately by the contractor with minimal RFIs or rework
