Oakwood Country Club
Kansas City, MO
McClure was selected to provide comprehensive design services for a major expansion and enhancement of Oakwood Country Club. The project included the design of a clubhouse expansion, new parking lot additions, modifications to the existing golf course, and the development of a new 12-hole Par 3 course, reconstructed driving range, and state-of-the-art teaching center. McClure also designed new lakes to enhance irrigation capacity across the course.
In addition to golf course improvements, McClure provided surveying and civil design services for the relocation of the maintenance facility, which was required to accommodate the newly added golf holes. The team also supported planning and civil design efforts for nearby residential housing development adjacent to the Par 3 course. These residential units are intended to support weddings, tournament events, and serve as investment properties for Oakwood Country Club’s national membership.
