McClure provided construction surveying and staking services for the Flood Risk Management – Reach 2, Phase 1 project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, under contract with Wendler, Inc. The project is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Cedar Rapids Flood Risk Management Project and includes construction of floodwalls, a stormwater pump station, removable flood gate structures, and relocation of the Tree of Five Seasons monument. McClure supported construction by providing precise layout and construction survey services for flood protection infrastructure and associated features, coordinating closely with Wendler, Inc. and the project team to support integration with adjacent flood risk management and downtown protection improvements.
