McClure provided survey, permitting, geotechnical investigation and design, preliminary and final design services, construction administration and observation services for the replacement of Bridge No. 2790012 on Mennemeyer using the BRO program. The original structure was a single-span steel girder bridge, with a concrete deck, and needed replacement due to roadway and structural deficiencies. The final design included a W33 x 118 Steel Girder Superstructure with concrete deck on integral concrete abutments. The bridge was laid
out with a 15-degree skew and a running grade of 4.6%.

Highlights
- The roadway design included modified bridge approach slabs, a 9-inch asphalt pavement section, and a vertical alignment adjustment to create an improved transition.
